Merry Christmas!
Thursday, December 24th, 2009みなさま、メリークリスマス!!今日は嬉しい嬉しいニュースがあります☆
本田家にサンタさんが来てくれました～!!準が声を出せるようになったんです!!!初めはもごもご音を出したり、こちらが言っていることを繰り返すだけで、音もハッキリせずに何を言っているのかよくわからない状態だったのですが、少しずつ音もハッキリしてきました。今は繰り返すだけではなくて、簡単なことはコミュニケーションも取れます。本当に嬉しいです!!!思わず涙・・・。心配していた記憶も、今のところ大きく失っていない様子です。ヤッターーー!!!
リハビリも毎日しっかり頑張っているようです！本人は大変だろうけど、これからが楽しみで仕方ありません。ますます前向きに楽しく毎日頑張りまーす!!

Merry Christmas, friends and families! Today, I have a big news for you! Santa has come to our family! Jun started to speak!!!! He still mumbles because of lack of muscle around his moutn, but we can surely communicate!! It’s awesome! It seems he didn’t lose his memory. It’s super great because it was one of the biggest concerns that we had. YYYYYYAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!
He is doing great job at his rehabilitation everyday. He is making progress every single day. I can’t wait to see more improvement!
I wish all merry christmas! Thank you for being such a great person for us!

I love driving:)
転院の当日は多くの看護士さん（とお隣の患者さん）に見送られ本人はとってもご機嫌な様子♪そして何より久しぶりに病院の外に出られて嬉しかったのでしょう。移動の車内でも終始ご機嫌で、その時の表情からはまだ意識が完全に戻っていないなんて考えられないくらいでした。
転院先の病院はリハビリテーション科なので、毎日休みなくリハビリが続いています。初日は本人も緊張して不安そうでしたが、ここでもスタッフの方や他の患者さんたち（笑）に支えられ、毎日少しずつ慣れてきているようです。明日は病院でクリスマス会です☆姉のわたしが楽しみにしています♪えへへ。
He has moved to his new hospital on Monday. When he left the previous one, lots of nurses and his neighbor patient came to say good-bye, so he was pretty happy about that. In addition, he was thrilled for a car ride! Seeing his delighted face, we almost forgot what troubles he has.
At new hospital, he has a solid schedule with three different kinds of rehabilitation; physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. He was nervous during first couple of days, but it seems like he already made his “fan” at this place too. Tomorrow, they will have a christmas party on his floor. I am pretty excited to participate with him! 🙂
お知らせ/Good news
Wednesday, December 9th, 2009お知らせです。来週の月曜日、１２月14日に転院することが決まりました。勝手ながら転院先の詳細については、個人的にご連絡いただければと思います。リハビリの内容がより充実する予定なので、今から楽しみです！けれど、今までお世話して下さた病院のスタッフの方々とのお別れは寂しいです。「お世話になったお礼に元気になってみんなに会いに来ようね」と準と約束しました！
He will move to new hospital next Monday. In that place, he will get more specialized training/rehabilitation, so we are pretty happy about it. It must be hard to leave current hospital though…the staff are just so nice! I promised Jun to come back here to surprise them when he gets lots better! That would be great!
A quick note
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009昨日、気管切開が取れました！まだ痛みだか違和感だかがあるようなので、様子見ですが・・・今週末には落ち着くといいです☆昨日は久しぶりにご飯が流動食だけだったのでご機嫌ﾅﾅﾒでした。。。
He had his tracheotomy removed yesterday! It seems like it still hurts, so we will see how it goes. He wasn’t happy at all yeterday because he couldn’t eat anything…poor boy.
